As a LEAN Coordinator at Velox Tech you will have an important facilitating role, to identify improvements for driving scalability and accelerating innovation. You will help to shape how we use LEAN within R&D. And while bringing in your LEAN philosophy understanding, administrative and management skills, you will also become a role model regarding to the company's vision and principles by showing the matching attitude and behaviour to all employees.
Your tasks
- Value stream mapping to define ‘as-is analyses’ and come up with recommendations for a future state based on company business needs
- Focusing on improvements initiatives throughout company's value stream while digital transformation is considered as a key part of most optimization initiatives
- Conform data collection and analysis for process mapping while acting cross functional
- Developing optimization solutions and ensuring that they are effectively implemented in the organization
- Implementation of a monitoring and measurement system giving all participants and stakeholders a clear view of status and performance against business objectives
- Ensure that best practices and key learnings are captured, communicated and utilized across the organization
- Individually support skilled colleagues, especially who do not have matching LEAN experiences from other companies
- Support Quality Management and other in company development involved functions
Your personal profile
- Bachelor or Master degree in Business Administration or other related fields
- Very good spoken and written English!
- Positive attitude and strong self motivation

Your LEAN Coordinator profile
- Knowledge in the field of LEAN and experiences of implementations where you can demonstrate results
- Strong analytic skills and a toolbox with clear track-record of using LEAN principles and culture
- Eager to work and influence all levels of an organization and able to identify needed system integrations and process automations
- Attracted by optimizing key processes leading to world class innovations that help grow a better world
- Can see the value in working closely with a team of people, facilitating and ensuring buy-in from across the value chain
- Ability to neutrally present a problem, situation or suggestion with the aim to improve for the greater good of the company
- Very good communication, training, consulting and team facilitating skills
- Able to effectively deal with difficult situations and conflicts
- Practical experiences from operations within a R&D company and a good understanding of product development processes are a plus
- Experiences from a country with a 'people-focused' approach as in Norway are advantageous

As a Mechatronics Engineer you will participate in all the phases of hardware design and development - from concept and requirement definition, through to detailed design and hardware bring-up. You will work closely with a team of software and mechanical engineers to design, develop and test new products that perform robustly in harsh and challenging environments.

- Familiarity with electrical and mechanical principles regarding sensors, controls and signal processing
- Experiences and knowledge about embedded platform development by creating automated systems and the software to control them
- Strong mathematical, analytical and creative thinking skills and advanced research and prototyping experiences
- Understanding problems or client briefs and developing satisfying solutions
- Skills and experiences in identifying areas of weakness in the development line or finished products for making recommendations to improve
- Strong hands-on assembly skills of complex automation products!!!
