The Camera Systems Engineer will work closely with a team of software, hardware, and optical engineers to develop, characterize, and tune camera systems and image processing pipelines for our R&D projects. While this role focuses on classical image signal processing (ISP) and tuning, there are opportunities to explore AI-based image enhancement techniques as well.

• Fluency in a programming language (Python, C, C++)
• Deep understanding of digital image processing, color science, and the physics of image formation.
• Hands-on experience with image tuning tools and frameworks (e.g., e-CAM, Qualcomm's Snapdragon Camera, or similar).
• Experience in developing and implementing image processing algorithms (e.g., noise reduction, white balance, auto-exposure, color correction).
• Experience with Image Signal Processor (ISP) pipelines and embedded camera systems.
• Experience with camera sensor characterization, evaluation, and testing.
• Familiarity with camera module design, lens selection, and sensor technology.
• Hands-on aptitude, good debugging and system analysis skills.

Nice to have:

• Experience with 3D or depth-sensing technologies (e.g., stereo vision, Time-of-Flight).
• Experience with professional image quality evaluation tools like Imatest or DxO Analyzer.
• Knowledge of specific ISP or sensor vendors (e.g., Qualcomm, Sony, OmniVision).
• Experience with multispectral imaging systems.
• Familiarity with computational photography techniques (e.g., multi-frame processing, super-resolution).
• Experience building multi-threaded and/or real-time systems.
