Purpose meets possibility
From subsea observations to a shared picture.
Velox SSA focuses on real-time visibility for subsea operations. Building on the Group’s aquaculture experience, we explore how imaging, sensing and data integration can help teams understand changing underwater conditions.
Observe the environment
Discuss underwater video, sensor coverage, visibility, operating depth and the events your team needs to observe.
Learn more 02Connect the evidence
Bring timestamped observations and equipment data into a common operational view. Define latency, connectivity and interfaces for the deployment.
Learn more 03Support timely decisions
Clarify operator workflows, event priorities and the evidence needed to evaluate situational awareness in real conditions.
Learn moreObserve the subsea environment
The starting point is the area and events your team needs to observe. Underwater visibility, operating depth and equipment placement shape the choice of video and sensor coverage. Existing power, networks and equipment interfaces also constrain the installation. These inputs help define a suitable evaluation scope; SSA remains an area of expansion, with capabilities and availability agreed for each application.
Connect observations with their context
Video, sensor readings and equipment data need enough context to be useful together. Define timestamps, data formats and the interfaces to the existing operational systems. Agree latency, connectivity and data-access requirements so the evaluation can establish whether observations reach the people and systems that need them. Integration requirements are defined for the application rather than assumed to be available in every configuration.
Support the operator’s next decision
Begin with the decisions operators need to make and the events that should receive attention. Map how observations enter the workflow, which information needs review and what evidence would demonstrate useful situational awareness. Evaluation criteria should reflect the operating conditions and the team’s priorities. The resulting scope provides a basis for discussing a suitable application and its acceptance evidence.
